Terms

This is the small print, please read it carefully before booking.

The conditions of booking Naturebreak UK Ltd holidays are written to ensure that your consumer rights are protected.

Naturebreak UK Ltd offers nature-based guiding services. We do not arrange holiday packages and customers of Naturebreak UK Ltd are free to choose their own accommodation. You may book accommodation at our bases and pay through Naturebreak UK Ltd, equally you may book accommodation and not our guided activities. This ensures that you have maximum choice of accommodation to meet your own personal and party needs. These options will apply to any members of your party individually, or to the party as a whole.

Payment Times

Bookings must be accompanied by a non-returnable and non-transferable deposit of approximately 25%  of the total purchase.

Full payment must be paid not less than 6 weeks in advance of the start of your holiday. We will send you a reminder 8 weeks before your holiday starts. If full payment is not received in the due time, the holiday will be offered to someone else.

Holiday tariffs are fixed for 1 year, however in certain unforeseen circumstances we may need to vary our tariffs at short notice.

Your  Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your booking for any reason, we regret that we are not able to return your deposit.

If you choose to cancel your booking after making full payment, we will already have reserved and paid for your place, and we are therefore not able to return your payment.

We strongly recommend all customers to take out holiday insurance to cover themselves for unexpected circumstances leading to booking cancellation.

Customers may purchase individual activities on a daily basis, however numbers are limited, so if activities are not booked in advance we cannot guarantee availability

Our Cancellations

We require a minimum number to run each holiday, this number is publicised in the calendar of events. If this number is not met, we will cancel that holiday and we will offer you a transfer, or a full return of all your payments. We will notify you of this a minimum of 6 weeks before the holiday start date.

If, in the event of any other unforeseen circumstance, we are required to cancel our holiday, we will offer you a transfer, or a full return of all your payments.

What we expect from you

These holidays are for wildlife watching, this may involve sitting still and quietly for periods of time, or moving quietly on rough ground.

Programmes are designed for anyone aged 8 years to 80 years old, but a reasonable level of fitness is required (able to walk a maximum of 4 miles on rough ground).

All participants will be supported to take part, we ask you to behave in a way which will ensure the enjoyment of all, and maximise the likelihood of experiencing wildlife. While we want everyone to have fun, we cannot accept unruly behaviour.

Participants are expected to follow the countryside code.

Customers who consistently act without regard to other clients or staff members will not be allowed to book with Naturebreak UK Ltd in future. In an extreme case, we reserve the right to ask a customer to leave the holiday, in which case no refund will be made.

Each of our bases is specially hired. To protect our good relations with our chosen venues, we expect customers to consider the needs of everyone in the centre. Any damaged caused to the venue will be charged to those who caused it.

Guides will be trained to ensure the wellbeing of all customers in remote territory.

If you choose to book holiday accommodation at the holiday base, your holiday will begin with an evening meal on the first day, arrivals will be expected after 4pm of that day. On the morning of departure, breakfast will be served, and departure expected by 10am. Between these times we will provide three meals a day and access to hot drinks morning and afternoon.

If you choose to make your own accommodation arrangements, your holiday will begin with a briefing at 7.30pm on the first evening at the holiday base, and finish at 8.30pm on the final full day with a final briefing at the holiday base.

While our objective will be to show you as much wildlife as possible, we are not going to the zoo! The wildlife we are looking for is affected by weather, seasonal effects, man-made disturbance and annual variations. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to show you everything we hope to see.
